Calligraphy/ Illumination:
The calligraphy's stall is here to make you discover the art of ancient writing. Indeed, you will appreciate the different types of writings according to ages and places, from Onciale to Rotunda or Carolina. Lady Saurice, Eva and Sophie will give you information about all the writing's technics, from the inks' composition to the right gesture as well as the several mediums of the diachronic history of the evolution of calligraphy.

In order to ornament these pages, Lady Nadia will know how to enchant you with her illuminations. You will also have the possibility to try your hand at the calligraphy's technics; our ladies will help you doing so and will know how this art can be appreciated from young to older ones!

Iron works:
The forge stall doesn't have claim to show you the iron works of big pieces as swords but it will help you to look at the making of small ornaments such as arrow's heads, knives or other kitchen ustensils.

We also works on the hammering of pieces of metal in order to make umbows for instance. We will soon develop the art of the melting down of the tin (crosses, coins, jewelry...).

Cooking:
Trencavel Company has the pleasure to have a delicious meal on its camp all along its activities. Indeed, our talented innkeepers educate our palate thanks to their old forgotten recipes. They can also quench our thirst with some medieval drinks like hypocras, saujet or claret.

Mail coat:
Through this stall, you will get some information about the knight's first type of protection: mail coat. You will discover several types of mail and learn the technic of this steel's embroidery and you may have the possibility to try on coat of mail/hauberk.

Leather:
Leather, which is a noble material for confection and clothing, is an art for which we go on making research in order to equip our companions.

Herbalist:
Our herbalist will know how to cure your pains thanks to typical recipes of the time: herbal tea, plants and other balms will help treating our valiant warriors who just come back from battles. Don't hesitate to ask her some questions to which she will greatly answer and she will fill you with wonder with her rose ointment, her consoude plaster or her parsley purée. And if you wish to, you will have the honor to savour her medicinal wines such as the sage wine, the basil one and her delicious love potion...!

Costumes:
Basing herself on the research in historical sources (illuminatings, sculptures, Maciejowsky Bible...), Lady saurice, our highly skilled dressmaker, tries to recreate and make the most authentic costumes for all our companions.
